Carolina Vistas Welcomes the Black Vegetarian Society of Georgia & friends!

A reception, yoga session, and presentation will be held at the mountain chalet of Dr. Arike Logan, owner and developer of Carolina Vistas.

This will be followed by a potluck vegan meal on the Carolina Vistas grounds (free of all animal flesh, dairy, eggs, and refined sugar); plus a tour of the land and hike.  

ONE DAY SALE SATURDAY JULY 28 ONLY:  30 - 50% OFF ALL CAROLINA  LAND

Others welcome. Bring a vegan cooked or raw dish or pay $10 to eat.

 Caravan from North Atlanta High School.  Gather at 9:30 am on Saturday.  2875 Northside Drive, Atlanta 30305.

DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA

Take I 75 N to I 575. Continue on I 575; it will turn into Hwy 5. Pass through Jasper, Elijay and Blue Ridge. At Blue Ridge Hwy 5 will make a left turn at the 2nd traffic light. Continue to the only stop sign so far. Make a left turn onto Hwy 68 N. Keep N. You will cross Hwy 64 at Ducktown.
From Ducktown travel 4.1 miles N. on Hwy 68. ( You will see a railroad crossing.  Do not cross the tracks!)Make a right turn onto New Stansbury Mtn. Rd. Travel a few minutes and you will come to Stansbury Mtn Rd.  Make a right turn.  Follow this road as it winds.  It will turn to gravel. Continue about l mile and you will see Sassafras Ridge Rd. on the left.
Turn in and bear right at Lake Imani.  Go 1/4 mile and watch for the yellow house on your right.  Park along side the road and at the cul de sac taking care not to block traffic.

What to bring
Wear comfortable clothes -- cotton or denim, long pants and socks, hiking boots or sneakers.  Chairs, table and/or blanket would be desirable. Also yoga mat, insect repellant., sunscreen, games and cards, music, rain wear, bottled water, hat, and sunglasses.
